    great product!

By Anessa on April 16, 2019

Was not sure what to expect from these as I have purchased duck hearts before from local stores, but they had a lot of fat on them.
Just tried the first bag today, very little fat almost all meat! Dogs love it. It's an inexpensive way to add more variety to my dogs' diets.

    Yummy duck hearts

By Chrissy on January 11, 2019

I ordered these to do better meal plan/options, but these are ending up to be small snacks as wanted :-) my Lab seems to really like them, and will eat them first when in his bowl. I like that they are easy to portion /thaw quickly. And they look great and are firm to hold, not mushy like i expected from a small bird.

    Nice Size and Price

Nice price and easy to re-portion for ongoing use.

    Delectable duck!

My dogs go crazy for these duck hearts! I'm so thankful Hare Today Gone Tomorrow carries such unique and quality products. We would never be able to source things like this locally (and feel safe about feeding). I love supporting such an outstanding business that truly cares about our pets!!

    Fabulous

I mixed these in with the ground duck/bone/organs. These heart are really great and I will definitely be ordering them again! My cats LOVE LOVE LOVE when I make duck food.

    These are a HIT!

By Rachel L on July 10, 2017

I wanted to try something different other than chicken hearts for my ferrets so I bought the duck hearts. I am glad that I did! My ferrets LOVE these! They would much rather have the duck hearts now over the chicken hearts!

    pleasantly surprised

After the crew rejected chicken hearts, I didn't know what to expect, but duck hearts are a hit with a number of the cats. They prefer them sliced or diced. Clean, plump & healthy looking.

    Kitties love these hearts

By Maureen on April 8, 2017

I just ordered the Duck Hearts and my 3 cats love them.I serve them with chucks of rabbit or turkey and the cats really scarf them up.These will remain on my shopping list.

How to produce circus cats ;)

By Sam on March 24, 2017

My cats would do anything for these hearts, apparently even backflips! They all prefer these to chicken, or beef hearts. One kitty loves young(?) pork hearts equally as well, but mostly those come differently, blocky and fatty like beef hearts. When everyone was younger, beef heart made many a good meal, but older digestion doesn't seem to be favoring beef heart here. The duck hearts now are their staple heart extra. As treats the duck hearts are easily able to produce a display of anything that the cats think might earn a heart, including backflips from a 15 year old kitty! I imagine they would be a great trick training tool.

    Yummy and rich

If I were a cat, I'd definitely eat these. They looked and smelled fresh.. my 6 month old kitty loved them. Not sure which he preferred more, duck or chicken hearts but either are fantastic. These were delivered and able to be broken into half oz portions for freezing within a few min after opening the shipment to check out my order, w a 1 day delivery.

    Excellent product

Well 4/5 dogs loved this. My mastiff however neatly piled them on the side of his bowl and had no interest. Still have it five stars because the other four inhaled the hearts and they were meaty with very little fat.

    LOVE these!

By Tracey on March 2, 2016

Having a breed that is prone to heart problems, our holistic veterinarian recommended 2 or 3 freeze dried duck hearts per day. I absolutely LOVE that I can get these frozen instead of freeze dried.

I got heart for my dogs because it is a great source of proper nutrition known for its Taurine, B12 and Iron just to name a few. I want to not only give a variety of protein sources but also different parts of each protein source. Different parts of each animal offer a different array of nutrition. These hearts are great for little dogs to chew and tear on. My dogs love anything duck (hearts, gizzards, feet, meat, ect...) it has become a staple in my dogs nutrition.

A real favorite around here.

Duck hearts are a nice size (as far as a duck heart would go!) My dogs that was on a duck diet only enjoyed them as a little treat plus they were healthy for him.

These are great quality and lasted a while for my ferrets! Would definitely recommend this to anyone who feeds a frankenprey diet to ferrets or cats :)

The duck hearts are a big hit with my cats. Whether I cut them up and add them to the ground turkey bones, organs or leave them whole, the cats gobble them up.

By Anna on April 8, 2013

So... I have loved heart and tongue meats ever since I was little. In fact, when I went to my grandparents' place, they'd buy chicken hearts and prepare them as an afternoon snack for me. However, I've never had the chance to have duck hearts, so when I saw this, it immediately went in the cart.
Upon receiving them, they're frozen in a couple rectangular blocks suspended in blood (or bloody water) and so some of them were cut up. It's wasn't a big deal, just didn't match the nice picture of all whole hearts shown. We defrosted them a bit and when the block was soft enough, my husband starting pulling them and he described the texture as \"felt like nice ripe berries.\" We boiled them in a little salt and ginger, then served drained with cilantro and soy sauce paste. It was delicious. I would buy it again and I'm still not sharing with the dogs.

Response from Tracy:
The hearts are human grade USDA inspected but being I am licensed for pet food these are sold as pet food only. This are not meant to be sold for human food.

All four of our cats love the duck hearts. I like to feed them whole along with chicken breast or thigh and gizzards. Tip, I have found that you can make the larger ones work as pill pockets.

By Patricia on May 7, 2012

This is absolutely perfect for making dehydrated treats. No slicing or dicing - just spread them in the tray and watch the dogs sit expectantly in front of the dehydrator!

By Kristina on April 24, 2012

Wonderful! Ordered various variety of hearts and variety is key! You can not go wrong! 2lbs doesn't sound like a lot, but you'll see, it's a LOT and and you're pets will absolutely love it! no noses are turned up here! They will eat any heart, organ ( remember organs are essential to a natural holistic diet and needed, so get the organs and the protein meat) and whole-prey from tracy! This was my first time buying raw vs whole-prey and what is great is you can buy both here! Save yourself $ and order here, you will not be disappointed! Fill that cart up! that is what a freezer is for!

My picky kitties love the duck hearts. It adds variety to their food and gives them a healthy dose of taurine. My older cat normally refuses anything that isn't ground but she has no issues eating these.

By laura on March 12, 2012

HUGE HIT with my poor IBD cat - she lives for these! It is so wonderful for me to be able to feed her something she just loves, so she can finally eat enthusiastically ...like she did before all the crap food compromised her digestion (before I knew better) . . and that I know is so good for her. . .THANK you for providing such a great service for all of us, Laura

These are my 2 cats favorite treat. I just diced them up a little and they are gone in minutes. Great choice for first timers to the raw food diet.
