Hard to work with

I bought a lot of these liver. I shouldn't have, since my French Bulldog puppy has hard time working his way and I find them hard to break. I also had trouble grinding them in a food processor. I have used the crumbles to sprinkle on to his food.
Response: When trying a new product, starting with lesser quantities is helpful. Remember that dehydrated products have a shelf life of 1 year or more if kept refrigerated or frozen. This gives some time to try these again whole once your puppy has grown some.

These came through in a clutch for me because I got behind on making my own treats. My dogs LOVE them! I open the freezer and go for the bag and they start jumping all over the place. Awesome for training because they're easy to break into smaller pieces.

My Bichon & Poochon LOVE these!!! I did find that when I broke off pieces, sometimes the liver would cut my fingers. A quick cure for that was putting the bits in paper towel and breaking them with a hammer. PERFECT!!!

Of all the treats offered, this is my Westies' favorite. They will do any amount of training for this dried liver, and it is so good for them. The price is also very competitive with commercially sold, much less healthy treats. Highly recommended!

When I first saw Hare Today's dehydrated beef liver, I realized how awful other pet liver treats really are! This liver is so fresh, natural, and HEALTHY! My dog and cats love them.
Since toxins go through the liver, it's important to only feed pasture-raised animal livers. I shudder to think what other factory-farmed products have in there!
