Product Details
Our Freeze Dried Ground Beef/Organs/Tripe/Bone Chunks is made from our fresh Ground/Beef/Organs/Tripe/Bone raw blend. We then cut into approximate 1"x1" squares.
Meat/Bone/Organ ratio: ~82% meat [to include muscle meat, heart, lung, gullet and tripe (4%)], 9% bone, and 9% organ [liver and kidneys].
Note: Heart and Gizzard is considered a muscle meat for feeding purposes.
This food is low in Sodium. It is also a good source of Vitamin B6, Phosphorus, Zinc and Selenium, and a very good source of Protein and Vitamin B12.
To hydrate: Mix 1 cup meat, to 1 cup warm water, for a yield of 1 lb.
Note: This ratio may appear to be more watery compared to frozen raw, but make sure you mix with warm water and allow it to sit for at least 3 minutes. Water can be reduced if your pet(s) prefer a thicker consistency, keeping in mind less water would result in lower yields.
Freeze dried can be fed hydrated, dry or as a topper for picky eaters.

Great for summer adventures

Our husky/gsd mix can be a picky eater, but he sure loves this stuff! He's a bit of a (lovable of course) weirdo and prefers this in the dry powder form. It's great for me too considering these crazy shipping delays + summer heat + living in Texas - freeze dried is a good option in uncertain times! (not Hare Today's fault at all to be clear! We've always had an excellent experience and all orders have arrived completely frozen!)
This is also just me personally, but I really appreciate how Hare Today posts the meat/bone/organ ratio for each of their products - I've never seen that with more popular raw brands. Having that info available makes it a lot easier to make sure my pup is getting the nutrients they need.
Also the freeze dried ground is great to take along for camping, long hikes, or other socially-distanced, outdoor activities.
It's pretty popular too, so I'd scoop it up if you see it!

I can’t say enough good things about Hare Today’s freeze dried products! We have tried all the flavors so far and our fur kids have enjoyed all of them! While rabbit is definitely a top favorite, beef is a close runner up, especially with our doggie
