Helpful Tips and Reminders

🐈 Cats typically do well with poultry.
🐕 Dogs prefer red meats, but poultry is good for rotation.
• Can be used to balance MBO ratios. If you feed even amounts, 1-1, of boneless meat to the 80/10/10 grinds, you would be at a ~90/5/5 ratio. A 1-2 ratio, respectively, could be favorable as well, resulting in a ~86/7/7 ratio. Balance MBO ratios with our Raw Food Ratio Calculator here: https://hare-today.com/raw_food_ratio_calculator.

My cat has no problem eating this, I mix it with boneless duck.

    Great item!

My four ferrets love this meal. I mix it with a little warm water to create a soup for them, good for my one ferret with tummy sensitivities!

I use this as an additional protein in my dog's diet. Good product.

all my animals go nuts for duck. I don't buy it often due to cost, but it's definitely a favorite here.

Our cats love the ground duck meat. It’s very moist and fresh. It’s a great alternative to other poultry meats. All paws up at our house!

    Another good meat

By Brittany on March 23, 2018

My dog liked this meat just fine. She wasn't quite as excited about it as she was for rabbit or red meats. She's never been the biggest poultry fan though. It was eaten with no hesitation though and it adds some variety as I do feel both red and white meat are important.

CATS LOVE IT AS AN ALTERNATIVE DINNER

By Bisera on August 20, 2017

My kitties and my dog love this as an alternative dinner twice a week from eating rabbit and turkey. It's pale in color and very sticky so I mix it with water. 1 pound of duck gets about 16 oz of water so it's nice and moist. A hit in my house.

Two out of three isn't bad.

By Maureen on March 9, 2017

I have ordered both boneless and bone-in duck. It isn't something that I consistently order because one of my cats will not eat it.Maybe it is to rich for his liking, I am not sure. This did come in handy awhile back when I had a foster cat with ringworm. The vet suggested that I mix her oral meds with a fatty food, the duck did the trick. Two of my cats love the duck especially if I mix it with rabbit organs.

My cat loves this duck! He even prefers it to chicken and turkey, and when I need to put a little weight on him (due to illness), this is my go-to.

My cats like this. However, I don't think I can say it's their favorite. Pretty sure they prefer rabbit or chicken.
