Really pleased

By Stephen on December 14, 2019

I have a Great Dane / Mastiff mix that is allergic to everything I have tried except for chicken, rabbit, duck and turkey. This makes it hard to get the correct ratio of offal and liver, well until I found you guys.
I was a little worried because of a screw up with FEDEX (not Hare Today's fault). Ashlee was super quick to respond to my concerns. I just received the order and it was still frozen rock solid which I believe the care in packing really helped. Everything looks great and I appreciate the care you took in packaging. I am so glad I found you guys and will defiantly be ordering again.

Thank you,
Steve

There is no equal!

By David on December 8, 2019

i have been looking for a source of pure food for my dogs. i was about to give up until i found hare today. Not only are they the nicest people you'll ever deal with, but they have the best products anywhere. they also have unique meats which help to prevent allergies that are often the problem with feeding the same food over and over. prices are reasonable, shipping is fast and the quality is AAA. I will be using them forever. Great job.

From Miracle to Marigold

By Charles on December 6, 2019

Our journey to raw feeding, as with many others, was out of necessity to achieve wellness when all other resources failed. Our Marigold is a rescue AmStaff that was picked up from the streets weighing 25lbs (healthy 50lbs now). When she was picked up and processed, the workers at the Animal Orphanage named her Miracle, as a result of her state and new lease on life. She was covered with mange, had lacerations around her neck, suffered from IBD and had lacerations on all four paws. All indications were that she was a puppy mill breeding momma. In spite of having a prolapsed birth canal, she was still used for breeding, as indicated by her three c-section scars on her belly. Additionally, it appears that she was starved before she was released or escaped, as her nails were very sharp, showing no signs of wear. In the one year that we have had her, she has had 4 skin infections, including one MRSA bout. Needless to say she was deeply compromised. Finding a food source that she did not have a reaction to was difficult. Traditional Chinese Medicine indicated that she needed to have cooling proteins, such as rabbit, cod and whitefish. It just so happened that these proteins were novel enough that she was able to eat them without a reaction. These protein sources, in their raw form, have provided the nutrient density necessary to nurse her back to health. After so many insults to her body, it has been a slow go, but she is at about 95% health today. Her hair is soft, her teeth are essentially self cleaning, her inflammation is non-existent; most importantly, she has a ton of energy and a tail that whips from side to side when she greets us. She will never win the most beautiful skin contest, but her oils are returning and her scars are healing nicely. "Let food be thy medicine" is quite honestly the most accurate assessment of the human/animal condition that one can make. Everything that we need to not only survive, but flourish, is right before us in it's natural state. We will never feed our animals anything, but raw.

LOVE THE FOOD

By KEKE on November 1, 2019

The variety of food from Hare-Today is always a HUGE plus for me since most others only provide chicken, turkey, and lamb (although my cat doesn't eat lamb at all). So keeping the variety in cat's diet and rotation in different sources are very critical to myself and my cat's health. One healthy pretty happy cat!!

Food that works wonders!

By Garlon on October 21, 2019

I've been going more towards a holistic approach for my animals for a number of years now. Primarily due to my cat who's shown some major allergy issues with excessive skin licking to the point of her completing balding her belly and inner legs. I've always know about feeding raw food to animals, but never really understood what it can truly mean for them. I've been following Hare Today's formula and food for awhile, and needless to say, the little rambunctious kitty is doing sooo much better! She still shows signs of licking every now and then, but I think it's a matter of engrained behavior at this point. Her coat is much softer and shinier, and she has very little dandruff now. You should see her rip and roar around the house right after she's been fed. You'd swear there was something chasing her lolol. And for the best part with her... is that she doesn't turn down a meal anymore!!! That feels GREAT on my wallet! lol

And for my doggo, he's never had any major health issues, but he loooooooves this waaaaaay more than kibble! He too, NEVER turns down a meal anymore as he used to do with kibble. Which again, means less food wasted! #SCORE

I've already recommended this company to a number of animal caretakers because it really is a great way to go in feeding a raw diet, without having to be overly concerned about portions/ratios.

Thank you for being awesome!

Pancreatitis

By Linda on October 20, 2019

My dog has pancreatitis and feeding him raw beef pancreas with every meal has made a huge difference in his health. We tried digestive enzymes but they made him sick. Also adding rabbit to his low fat diet gives him a variety along with your other great proteins.
It has been such a roller coaster ride with him. Thanks to Hare Today I think we are on the right track.

Irritable Bowel Disease

By Cindy on October 11, 2019

Raw feeding was a life saver for Abby. She was diagnosed via biopsy with IBD at about a year of age (although I knew something was wrong with her as soon as we got her). After thousands of dollars in vet bills and various prescription foods I went against the advice of two different veterinarians and started her on a raw diet out of desperation. I am happy to report that she is thriving on her raw diet. She is happy and her coat is finally growing back in. She especially enjoys the rabbit.

Raw Feeding Rescue Pup

By Mi on October 9, 2019

A couple years prior to adopting my first dog, I got very invested in my own health and nutrition. So when I adopted an 8 week old emaciated puppy who came straight off the streets into the shelter, I wanted to make sure she only ate food that helped her thrive and not just survive. After so much research and guidance from so many people in the raw feeding community, I can proudly say we've been raw feeding for over a year and can't see our pup or any future dog of ours thriving in any other way :)

RAW Saved my Pups Life

By Jennifer on October 1, 2019

Over 4 years ago my male pup had liver enzymes in the 1000's. The vets of course wanted to do more tests, poke/prod at him and whatnot. I came across a nutritionist online who introduced me to raw feeding. I started out feeding them raw meats, fruits and vegetables. Within 3 months his liver enzymes went back w/in normal range!!!! Over the course of the next 3 years, he had severe allergies (yeast in ears, ear infections, yeast on his paws - kept constantly in a cone when I wasn't home due to this), loss of hair, incontinence (poor dog wore a diaper every night and when I wasn't home for long periods, I would come home to a SOAKED diaper at times).....the list goes on. Somehow I came across the PMR way to feed and stopped giving them fruits/veg. AMAZING!!!! Within a few weeks he was OUT of a diaper (has never worn one again)! Withing a month or so his hair started to thicken and grow back.....and NO MORE yeasty crusty ears/paws!!!! Both my pups are thriving! My female doesn't itch/scratch/have dry skin like she used to...they are both SOLID/muscular and their coats SHINE like there is no tomorrow. And their energy levels are through the roof! I'm grateful I started feeding this way and I'm grateful for sites like Hare-Today that provide quality treats/meats/organs to fee my fur babies!!
