My yellow lab puppy has enjoyed products from Hare Today since she was 8 weeks old. She adores the baby chicks and mice, and carries them around playing with them before chewing them up and eating them! The duck heads are wonderful also!
Hare Today is a great place to get whole prey for puppies and grown dogs alike. There's nothing else quite like it, and I am so glad Hare Today services this important niche in the overcrowded, poor quality dog food market.

They are fast, efficient, no B.S., they keep a healthy stock, and they communicate if there is any change in your order. They keep a wide selection of proteins, body parts and cuts. They also give you great information on the bone/muscle ratios and the fat and nutrition percentages. I know I can count on them to feed my dog on a regular basis with out worrying they won't ship my order on time or they will run out of items in my order before they ship. They are very professional and they even have a points reward program that we take advantage of. Hands down my favorite place to shop for raw feeding supplies. They make my life so much easier! We had started feeding a raw commercial food to my kitten and puppy when we first brought them home. My kitten eyes had gotten so big when she got her first bowl of raw. We were afraid of not getting it right if we prepared it ourselves so it was strictly commercial to begin with until we moved. We were living in the Northwest where commercial raw was easily obtainable in most pet stores. When we moved to the Southeast, it was only on a preorder basis that we could obtain the commercial raw for both of them. It became really difficult when Willow, my cat, could not get her Radcat since the distributor had sold out of the only type she would eat --- Turkey. She was seriously addicted to Rad cat which left me wondering what the heck was in it... So we were forced to take the plunge to making our own raw since the distributor could not keep it in stock and I needed to feed Willow. We actually had to slowly take Willow off the Rad Cat so she would eat the actual prepared raw. We also, at the same time, took the plunge with my dog. We did loads of research beforehand, and I hate to say this, but I trust the "cat" peoples/forums opinion rather than "dog". I gave up on the dog forums/instagram feeds etc., when I read so many conflicting opinions on cooking your own dog food to feeding raw (wow, people can be downright mean to each other on the internet even if they all have one thing in common, loving their animals and trying to feed them the best that they can figure out... and some of their supplements were just downright weird like feeding a dog raspberries or things that are the latest trend that people take as supplements without research on how it may effect the health of your animal. Their dishes looked more like photo shoots for weight conscious magazines then actually something that would fill up a dog for a day. However, the cat forums all had one agreement and that was your company "Hare Today" was the best and most trusted raw supplier. Through the maze of so many conflicting opinions, we are so glad that we found you. I would have never found you except for all the "cat" people. (Thank you so much cat people! Your many years of research lead me to the right place!) Of course, I love your food calculator and experimenting with all your different proteins to find out which ones my dog and cat will love and which ones are not something they want to eat since they are some picky eaters. I feel confident in feeding my dog and cat with your food since I know that (1) its healthy and fresh, (2) all the percentages are there so I can figure out what to add to make it the perfect balance, and (3) my dog and cat love your food and they are healthy and happy!
New to Hare Today

I received a gift of about 20 chubs of Goat, Mutton, Venison and Rabbit from a friend whose dog passed away, she knew I fed raw. I was amazed at the quality of the meat from the first thaw. What struck me was how dense it was compared to products I was feeding. My dog (Labrador, age 8) devours his meals and in spite of my feeling a bit "odd" about the ground rabbit he loves it! We will be ordering from Hare Today.

When we discovered our German Shepherd puppy had food allergies, we began the frustrating struggle to try to get him better. Our vet had us start canned rabbit, which was ok for allergies, but his health suffered in other ways. I felt so lucky to find raw rabbit at Hare Today. Our puppy has been enjoying it as his only protein for a few weeks now and the improvements are already obvious. He LOVES to eat it, his coat is gorgeous, he's shedding less, and his #2's are much better. His allergies are also improving, and we're looking forward to continued improvement.

I can't even begin to express my love for Hare-Today. My cat is heAlthy and energetic while my home shows no odorous signs of a pet cat!! I heartily reccommend ALL pet owners to use this company for their pet feeding needs!!

My 9 year old dog had a slew of health issues, most particularly IMHA which is a deadly form of Hemolytic anemia. I spent $13,000 on medications, internal specialists and driving to various veterinarians and vet hospitals states away in 3 months. Against many veterinary advisories, I switched Nico to raw. I always thought I had him on the best food out there but it was all crap and had no hydration. Sourcing products was the most difficult part until I was directed to hare today!
Nico is happy, healthy, no longer anemic and med free!

Am very happy with this company and the food purchased for my German Shepherd. She loves her meals, her coat is shiny like it was when she was a puppy and her bad breath is gone! I have used other raw suppliers and none of them ship as quickly as this one. I love having the printed packing slip too. Just got a new German Shepherd puppy and can't wait to start her on raw as well!!

Just great! Medium size is perfect for my German Shepherd. Keeps her busy for 4 plus hours, she eats just about the whole thing including some of the bone, they are so fresh. She actually knows when it is time for her to get one. Reorder all the time, highly recommend them.
Why I Switched to Raw Feeding

I brought my beautiful German Shepherd home at just 6 weeks old and it was love at first sight. This boy captured my heart from the very first moment I laid eyes on him!
I had always fed my previous dogs expensive, "top of the line" brands of kibble, and it was no different for Charlie. He ate pretty well, but never seemed overly excited about what was in his bowl. He was, however, growing very fast and thriving. When Charlie was 4 1/2 months old, we boarded him for the first time for 2 nights while we moved our daughter into her college dorm. Less than a week later, I knew that something was very wrong. Thick, green mucous was coming out of his nose and he coughing so hard it sounded like a goose honking. I rushed him to the emergency vet and Charlie was diagnosed with a life-threatening case of pneumonia. It was a very scary time for me. Charlie spent 7 days in ICU, and when he was well enough to go home had lost 16 pounds. The only thing he had eaten while he was hospitalized was a few jars of baby food. Over the next week, I tried everything I could think of to get my boy well. He had no energy, and spent most of the day sleeping. I had to spoon feed him baby food to get some calories in him and did the same with spoonfuls of water to keep him hydrated. He refused kibble completely, no matter how I tried to make it seem more appealing. I knew he couldn't survive on baby food so I started doing some research. This is when I first learned about raw diets. I've have had 8 dogs in my adult life and had never heard of it. I admit - when I first read about it, it sounded weird. No one I knew had ever fed their dogs anything other than kibble; but as I watched my 5 month old puppy wasting away, I knew I had to do something. I spent countless hours over the next week doing nothing but research on this diet, trying to educate myself as much as possible so I didn't make any mistakes. I spoke with the owner of a local natural pet store who fed her dog a commercial raw diet. She talked with me for almost 2 hours and gave me some samples to give Charlie to try as well as a turkey neck. That night I gave Charlie his first raw meal and he ate the entire patty in 30 seconds. I couldn't believe it! This dog had been spoon fed for almost 2 weeks with zero interest in food up until that point. It was then that I was 100% convinced that raw feeding was the right solution. I continued with the commercial raw patties for about a month while I continued to research and educate myself on raw feeding. When I finally had enough confidence that I could plan a balanced menu, I placed my first order and starting preparing Charlie's meals myself. The difference in Charlie's health was noticeable immediately. He was soon back to his old, happy self and gained all of the weight he had lost quickly. Charlie is now a year old and nothing makes him happier than meal time. Raw feeding completely changed his life and I am so happy I made the switch!
