Salmon oil is a natural source for Omega-3 essential fatty acids, which are important nutrients for the skin and coat - and for overall health.
Many holistic veterinarians feed salmon oil to their dogs and cats every day, and recommends it to all of their patients.
More potency without the smell, even though humans can barely smell the scent of Salmon, the dogs and cats go crazy for it.
We added more filtration to take out the fishy smell and our oils are Human Pharmaceutical Grade.
NOT JUST A COOL BOTTLE:
Plastics can contaminate oils as is evidenced by the plastic bottles of oil you see caving in on themselves.
We at Iceland Pure are concerned about your pet's health, so we housed our Pure Icelandic oils in brushed aluminum bottles with a micro-thin epoxy coating.
This not only prevents cross contamination with the container, but it also prevents any light degradation that may occur in white or clear containers.
And they are recyclable!
Bottles include handy pumps for accurate dispensing.
The important EPA and DHA Omega-3 essential fatty acids are plentiful in salmon oil.
And unlike plant-based Omega-3 supplements (such as flax seed), fish oil is readily processed by the digestive system, resulting in more available essential fatty acids per serving.
A daily supplement of salmon oil is a must for any dog or cat with skin or coat issues, including those caused by allergies - but it will make a noticeable improvement in the coat of any animal, young or old.
During the bottling process in Iceland, our salmon oil goes through a detoxification process that removes virtually all toxins and heavy metals - to the point where they are below detectable levels so that the oil can be called toxin-free."

Salmon oil
By Kat on February 28, 2023
I want maximum nutrition for my cats so I try to get different toppers to add to their food and this has been working out really nice. I'm not sure if they even notice it's in thier food but they eat it so it's working out well for me lol
Helpful for Ears
By Nadia on February 15, 2022
My cat used to itch and scratch her ears. Well, no longer! This product takes the guess work, worry and doubt about whether my cat is getting the nutrients she needs. Thank you!
Great Product, Defective Packaging
By Shelby on April 14, 2020
Overall, I love this stuff. We have used both the Salmon and Anchovy oil. Both are truly odorless and are clearly high quality with good color. My cat still gobbles up her food like it's not even there! Her dry skin and itching have cleared up totally and stayed gone with help from these two products.
That being said, the pump on these bottles is horrible and leaks everywhere. I did an experiment where, after pumping out some, I cleaned the nozzle thoroughly and then left a paper towel under the pump. When I came home, the paper towel was stained with oil, leading me to believe it leaks a little throughout the day . We have taken to emptying the bottle into a glass container and simply using a spoon to dose it out.
Cat doesn't even know it's there
By Jessica on January 11, 2020
This is such a great way to add extra benefits to your pet's diet. It mixes in with food, and my cat doesn't even know it's there. Although, he has tried to lick from the nozzle so even if he does know it's there he doesn't care. His coat is so soft from being on a completely raw diet, and this salmon oil just adds to that. I love that the bottle is aluminum. It's better for us and the environment, and it keeps it ice cold in the refrigerator. Love it!
Omega 3's
By Larissa on February 2, 2018
I ordered this to add more omega 3 to our dogs' diets. I add a few squirts a few times a week. I think adding this oil helps keep them healthier in addition to a raw diet.
Adding Omega 3's back to the diet
By Lacelynn on December 16, 2016
My dog has been on a raw diet for 6 years. I wanted to be able to supply with him a natural, clean source of Omega 3's as most meats now are higher in Omega 6's from being fed corn meals. This fish oil gave his coat a sheen like no other and he lapped it up every day. No complaints from either of us!
I love it, cats hate it.
By Deborah on July 14, 2016
I got this today and hoped it would be totally unscented. Well, I can barely smell a thing. Unfortunately, my cats can smell it a mile away and since they are weird and hate all fish they wouldn't touch their food with it in it, while they scarfed the food I gave them without it. Since I was giving them a late night snack and they weren't terribly hungry I'm hoping it will go over better in the morning and that they will get used to it, since they need the oil for omega 3's, etc. Meanwhile, I will keep trying, cutting the amount down and hopefully gradually increase the amount in their food.
Regardless, the bottle packaging is great and I can see that the oil is high quality. It's not Hare Today's fault that my cats didn't read the book saying that they are supposed to love fish. Ha!
Cats did not like and had odor
By Lisa on June 19, 2016
My cats would not touch food with this on it. Mine also has a very strong fish odor. I did not find this to be unscented. Unless unscented refers to something else? I will be throwing the bottle away. I wish it came in a smaller trial size to see if one's cats like it before spending for such a large bottle.
Response from Hare today: Fish oil should be stored in fridge or it can become rancid. Being you ordered 5 months ago and never contacted me about any issue I am assuming you did not refrigerate? This is probably why the stronger smell. The bottles we offer are a 17 ounce bottle which states this on the product description.
Great pump
By Yee on December 15, 2015
Sometimes I'll buy this because I like the easy use of the pump rather than using certain tell pills. This pump bottle is also nice in material.
easy to use
By Jennifer on October 25, 2015
This is a great product, we keep it on the counter and top our raw food with it, they love it and the result is silky coats so i'm defiantly happy.
Love this!
By Faye-Rose on October 22, 2015
The salmon oil was certainly unscented but the perfect addition to my little kitty's raw food mixture. I highly recommend!
