Ground chicken organs
By Lynn on November 24, 2019
Adding 1/5 of the package to one pound of Nicky's food helps make his food a complete meal.
Easy-Peasy
By Patty on September 1, 2018
This ground organ mix makes my jobe easy. Kitty loves it and meows her little furry head off when I'm making her custom blend.
Upping organ content for kitten
By Natalie on November 12, 2017
I add these to my blend of food to increase organ content to 10%. I do wish hare-today had a ground organ option of only secreting organs though.
Response: I am unable to get other types of poultry secreting organs. If I could I would.
Wish these were organs...
By Katie on November 3, 2017
Heart and gizzards are muscle meats. Not organs. Wish there was a true ground organ blend. Liver, kidney, pancreas, etc. I worry that calling these organs confuses people and makes them think they can add to create a balanced diet.
"First let's start with the organs that are, for the purpose of food, considered muscle meat. These include hearts, gizzards and tongues. ... Since this is the case, you cannot feed hearts, tongues or gizzards and count it towards your organ totals – which should be approximately 10% of the total diet."
Response: Hearts and gizzards are organs just not secreting organs and it states what is included in the description. This is an organ blend not a 100% secreting organ blend.
If you go to the raw food education box on our website the ratios of what should be fed are there. You do not have to feed the 80/10/10 ratios at every meal. You can get this balance over time in the overall diet. If I could source poultry spleen, kidney, etc I would certainly include it but I can not get these types of poultry organs.
Makes it easy
By Maureen on April 11, 2017
I dislike handling organs, especially liver. This ground mix makes my life easier. I sometimes make boneless meals for the cats and just mixing this chub with the meat is so easy. I also use it when I grind my own chicken. It is perfect.
Made homemade easy!
By Akiko on April 11, 2017

Great for do it yourself Meal Prep
By Michael on February 20, 2017
Not only is it impossible to find the full arsenal of organs in local grocery stores, finding ones that are attained with no hormones, antibiotics and preservatives is a huge huge bonus....Used this organ mix with organic chicken breast/thighs to create a meat mix of my own for my rescue dog...Thank goodness for Hare-Today!
Served with almost every meal
By Brian on January 8, 2017
My shepherd mix, Agatha, absolutely loves this. It's very watery when thawed, so I freeze them into cubes and give her a couple with every meal to satisfy the organ portion of her diet.
Perfect
By Plamena on October 2, 2016
This organ mix is a perfect addition to your order for balancing out the meat-bone-organ ratio of poultry meat. It does look like the picture. The organ mix is more watery than meat mixes, which is not an issue. It's easy to add to boneless chicken breast and chicken/bone/organ grinds to make a fully balanced meal for cats.
Ultimately my kittens eat this all the time. They have never rejected their chicken dinners. Will order again!
Like this for variety of organs
By Renee on September 23, 2016
Ground chicken organs is a convenient and nutritious for my dog. I like to add a little more to his meals and the ground chicken organs provides a variety. This is so much better and easier to use than purchasing individual organs,
Great product!
By Deborah on July 20, 2016
Honestly, I almost didn't get these ground chicken organs because the pic is so ugly, in my opinion. I'm so glad I did. In reality, this is a great chicken product. It looks fresh and appetizing in reality. I got it today and mixed it with quail and the cats parked themselves in front of their bowls and didn't leave until it was all gone. It cut the price of the quail in half and is a great protein source. I can't believe I'm not throwing away food every meal, like I did literally every day before I started buying raw from Hare Today. Not once have I had to throw away Hare Today food. I no longer have picky cats! Amazing!
Lovely Chicken Organs!
By Jennifer on June 10, 2016
Great product! I use these ground chicken organs (along with boneless meat grinds) to dilute the bone content in various bone-in meat grinds bought from Hare Today. Love that it's sold in 5lb chubs too! My three cats love chicken, and these ground chicken organs!
Works well for balanced meals
By Kristin on May 11, 2016
I ended up using these as a substitute in my normal recipe when ground rabbit organ wasn't available for a brief period and was happy that they worked just fine. My pet isn't that picky and loves any of the raw chunk or ground we get from Hare Today, and it's great to have the variety of proteins to choose from and know that they will all be fresh and high quality.
Great for mixing or feeding as is
By Catherine on March 12, 2016
This is such a convenient way to add liver and heart to homemade ground mixes, and no more costly than buying organs separately. Makes a wonderful treat and/or small meal, too - my cats are crazy for this organ mix and come running the moment I open the package.
PERFECT BLEND FOR HOMEMADE PET FOOD
By GINNY on March 11, 2016
The ground chicken organs make homemade pet food easy to prepare. Ever since switching my two cats to only raw Hare Today grinds, their health has improved drastically. One cat was diagnosed with an inflamed digestive system. Treating with colostrum, and feeding only raw has also eliminated vomiting, hairballs, food allergies, and poor health in general. So glad I found Hare Today!
Great for some picky eaters
By Yee on December 16, 2015
I used to order these a lot because of the kittens being picky when the organs were in chunks. Thanks to having this ground option available, I was having an easier time getting them to eat it! Lots of nutrients!
Excellent Quality
By Jessica on November 28, 2015
The ground chicken organs are a staple in our monthly-ish orders!
Always Top Notch
By Teri on September 23, 2015
Always Top Notch and excellent packaging and shipping. Can't say enough good things about them.
Great addition for making new recipes or cutting down bone %
By catseatingmeat on September 21, 2015
I use this to cut down the bone content in Hare-Today's chicken and duck grinds. Just remember that liver is 1/3 per pound when you're calculating how much you need to add! It's consistency is rather wet, so it'd be easier to work with when is semi-thawed.
Ground Chicken Organs
By Kelly on September 11, 2015
I know that the "organs" are really important to a dogs diet, however I couldn't get my GSD to eat them...maybe it was a texture issue? She loves the ground chicken organs...and I don't have the mess!
By selena on July 30, 2013
This is probably the dogs second favorite, right after the ground chicken. I make "stuffed" chicken with the organ meat and an egg. Usually I will stuff a chicken frame with ground organ meat, and an egg and they love it. Kind of like an all meat kong.
By LaHoma on March 23, 2013
I don't know why I waited so long to order this, but the cats all love it and it is a very easy way to give them organs. I just give it to them straight, but it would also be great mixed with some ground chicken.
By Emily on January 18, 2013
This is wonderful! I enjoy the organ grinds almost as much as my dogs, they are sooooo much easier to feed than organs bought whole! This is a wonderful product, my dogs adore it and I will definitely keep buying it! Again a very clean, clearly mark package, just great! Thanks again!
By Jeannine on January 1, 2008
Ground chicken organs are my cats' FAVORITE way to have chicken. It may seem a bit ugly and smelly to me, but my cats gobble this down and beg for more every time. This is a fabulous product.
