• Bison is a highly nutrient dense food because of the proportion of protein, fat, mineral and fatty acids to its caloric value. The USDA has determined that bison is lower in cholesterol, calories and fat and higher in protein and nutrients than beef, skinless chicken, pork or fish.

Helpful Tips and Reminders

• 🐕 Most dogs favor red meat best so this product typically works well with dogs of all sizes.
• 🐈 Some cats will eat red meats, but others simply will not tolerate it. If you chose this product for your cat, start with a small amount and introduce slowly.
• Novel protein which can be helpful for animals with sensitivities and/or allergies.
• Meaty pieces have added benefits from jaw exercise to teeth cleaning.
• Red meat can cause dark brown stools. When incorporating more red meats in your animal’s diet, expect the stool to become darker in color.

    Bag was mostly fat

What meat was in this product was enjoyed by my Pomeranian and two of my four cats. However, I would say that at least 75% of the bag that I got was pure fat. Many of the pieces had no meat on them at all and others only had a thin sliver of meat. I really would like to buy this again, and I do understand that there will be fatty peices, but for what I received the price is outrageous. Might try one more time.

Bison meat like this is a delicacy for my dogs. I don’t purchase it that often but my dogs enjoy the meat so much I just have to get it for them on occasion! This product was outstanding! Very rich and lean looking!!

These are great - they come in rectangular large chunks that I defrost and cut up into little pieces for my finicky cats. They love it!
