My purebred Maine Coon caught of tough case of fleas over the summer as this was one of the hottest on record here in Florida. It was a struggle but finally she is flea free, though due to all the over-grooming and consuming fleas, larvae, poop and whatever else she developed gut problems and was having constant diarrhea. It was terrible.
After several costly trips to the vet and prescription bags of Science Diet later, I did some research and confirmed what I'd known all along- she needed a raw diet and nothing else.
She's been on the rabbit for two months now, and she looks and feels wonderful! She is happy and playful again, her fur is soft and full, and her poops are solid. It just makes sense to feed a raw diet and she'll never eat bag or canned food again. Thank you!

Since I have been feeding raw from Hare-Today my dogs are so much healthier. Their coats are so soft and shiny people often ask about their diet and I always recommend Hare-Today.

When we got our first dog Cricket, a Shar-Pei Beagle mix, she was a mess. She was found on the street by the local humane society, and they think she was abandoned by a previous family because of an extensive skin infection.
When we first met Cricket, then 'Patches', she was missing 60% of her fur. She had a large and super gross rash from her licking her legs and belly so much. We immediately put her on a very expensive, high end kibble. Her rash healed after about a month, and her fur slowly grew back in. Sadly, every few weeks her infection would pop up again and she had to go back on antibiotics.
I had already known about raw feeding from a family friend, and after a while, we had enough. We knew raw feeding was the best for her and decided to switch her over. Within a week her fur was softer and thicker, and within two months she has had no sign of her infection returning! She had also started developing Canine papillomas while on kibble, and after just a week those were all gone! Cricket is now soft, shiny, and sleek, and people always comment on how good-looking and trim she is!
Cricket is much happier than she ever was on commercial kibble, and we are so happy knowing that she will be raw fed for the rest of her life!
Raw, raw for Luna

My Luna, a.3 year old Sphynx has suffered from skin issues for most of her life. After many trips to specialty vets, MANY various types of foods, and many treatments, we tried raw. Prepared raw from the specialty stores seemed to improve her condition but were very expensive.
I learned about Hare Today and placed an order. The fine ground rabbit and pork options are fantastic for Luna. She likes and eats the raw and her skin is clear-no rash, break outs or other allergic reactions that we have encountered with other foods.
And, the owner has taken time to us with ordering and shipping.

Ferrets have a poor health history and I wanted to help prolong their health by diet.
I found Holistic Ferret Forum and did some research and transitioned them to a raw diet.
Our raw food provider messed up on our order multiple times so we had to try new foods. They turned their nose up to each one.
We were hesitant to try Hare Today because of our track record with new foods but the food quality does not compare.
The shipping is expensive but not hand feeding them is worth it.

Raw isn't better, it's the Best

I have both a dog and cat that I rescued with many issues. Both had digestive problems, fleas, poor coat quality, eye infections and allergies. I tried everything that is normally recommended.... limited ingredient kibble, benedryl all the vet prescriptions, you name it. The issues never resolved. They would get "better" but then come back.
I finally came across a raw feeding forum one day, read for awhile and thought "these people are nuts!" But it stuck with me. All the problems that were solved, the healthy coats, clean teeth, clean breath and bright eyes kept swimming around in my head.
I did a total of about 6 months of research and getting meats here and there before I dove in and gave them a choice of raw food. They both accepted it and loved it.
I loved that they loved it and that they seemed happy with it. That was enough for me, but slowly I started noticing the "crazy energy" my dog had from his dry food was now more stabilized and he didn't crash like he did with the dry food. My cat seemed more satisfied and her breath had no smell at all. Neither did my dog's.
Next was the litter box and picking up dog poo.... it was no longer such an overpowering odor that a gas mask was needed to do the job. Then everyone kept commenting how clean and white they looked and asking if I just gave them baths and saying how soft they were. My dog swims with me while I kayak 8-13 miles and also runs all day with me while I ride horseback. He is 8. My cat is also 8 and still runs around and plays like a kitten.
I have to say I will never go back to kibble. I now know too much and have seen too much to believe in it. And I want to thank Hare Today for providing pet owners with a choice. It's still considered such a taboo thing, this raw feeding, but for those who know, you are a hero!
Saved his life

We rescued a very young and very sick kitten from an Amish farm. He was constantly leaking fecal matter and had a distended anus. After multiple vet visits and hundreds of dollars later with no success, we tried a raw diet. Within 3 days he was having normal bowel movements and was acting more like a kitten, We no longer use this vet for any of our cats and Stoltzpuss is now 3 and extremely healthy.

I have tried every food on the market for my German shepherd and she is so much healthier and she dances at meal times now. I am so glad to find Hard Today. Stores in my area do not offer good meat unless you spend a TON of money. My BABY eats a lot and I love your prices and the convenience of door to door shipping. Thank you so much.

Chicken necks and raw feeding

Previous cats of mine had bad tartar on their teeth and began loosing their teeth around nine years old. I had to have dentals for them which are very expensive and the anesthesia is risky for cats and dogs. I didn't want my two current cats to go through this.
My two cats had bad tartar on their teeth (especially their carnasials). I read about feeding chicken necks to my two cats to clean their teeth; over time their teeth regained their naturally clean state. I also feed small rabbit parts and crunching on the bones also keep their teeth clean. I cut the rabbit bones into small pieces.

I run a small cat rescue group in NYC. All my foster cats and my personal cats get feed a natural raw diet. They're at a perfect weight, have energy like kittens, well when they're not napping, and are very healthy.
Hare Today is amazing because not only do they ship the meat, the meat comes preground. Which makes it a whole lot easier for me. Grinding bones can get tedious after a while. So thank you!
