Chicken necks and raw feeding

By Lynn on November 9, 2016

Previous cats of mine had bad tartar on their teeth and began loosing their teeth around nine years old. I had to have dentals for them which are very expensive and the anesthesia is risky for cats and dogs. I didn't want my two current cats to go through this.

My two cats had bad tartar on their teeth (especially their carnasials). I read about feeding chicken necks to my two cats to clean their teeth; over time their teeth regained their naturally clean state. I also feed small rabbit parts and crunching on the bones also keep their teeth clean. I cut the rabbit bones into small pieces.

The best choice for your cats!

By Jill on November 5, 2016

I run a small cat rescue group in NYC. All my foster cats and my personal cats get feed a natural raw diet. They're at a perfect weight, have energy like kittens, well when they're not napping, and are very healthy.

Hare Today is amazing because not only do they ship the meat, the meat comes preground. Which makes it a whole lot easier for me. Grinding bones can get tedious after a while. So thank you!

Vet Approved!

By Jennifer on November 2, 2016

My cat just had a check up and dental cleaning. The vet said he is at an "ideal weight". He is about eight years old and got a clean bill of health! He also got a seal of approval after his dental cleaning. Clean teeth and "no extractions necessary". Healthy boy, and he loves his raw food!

Awesome Company

By Troy on November 1, 2016

Thank you for being great alternative to the other raw providers on the market. Since we began feeding our three girls raw because of allergies three years ago prices increased so much that I was really close to reverting back to kibbles.

We found Hare Today and price was more reasonable, a great rewards program, some monthly discounts and a great quality product. The other companies were putting more liquid in their products and were jacking up prices to cover "Free Shipping" to everyone.

Don't change a thing Hare Today, your model of offering a great product and taking care of your customers is working fantastic. We don't need gimmicky deals to keep coming back.

Our IBD Journey

By Adrianna on October 30, 2016

Idiopathic Lymphocytic-Plasmacytic Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Months ago we got this diagnosis for our 7 year old male Ragdoll, Super-Nova.

Nova has been a raw-fed cat all his life, and I worked hard to balance a raw diet for both of my cats. This, however, did not prevent him from developing the disease. In fact, this only made it harder to spot. He did not show the normal, outward symptoms of IBD. He did not have diarrhea or vomiting. In fact, his only symptoms were a gradual weight loss and waning appetite. Then one day, he threw up, and the alarm bells went off. This was not normal for him at all, so into the ER he went.

He was found to have food intolerances, and because he had been given a wide variety of proteins throughout his life, pinning down a readily available "novel" protein was difficult. At vet insistence, we tried commercial prescription diets. This is when we began to see the more common IBD symptoms. Diarrhea, then bouts of constipation and discomfort, eventually putting him back in the ER, where he was further diagnosed with Pancreatitis.

We went through multiple commercial diets. The vet was pushing a dry, hydrolyzed protein diet as the next step. I have never fed either of my cats dry food, and I couldn't stomach the thought of continually giving him poorer and poorer quality food. Especially since none of these diets had shown any positive results.

I found Hare Today in my search for novel proteins, and started Nova off on the Rabbit Grind (meat/bones/organs) with Alnutrin. This turned out to be the only thing he can tolerate. His stools are cleared up, and his overall health and energy level has been on the upswing. It has been two months, and he's already gained back 3lbs of the 5lbs he had lost.

I want to note that he is still on a lot of medication. With severe cases of IBD, there are no miracles. I've seen and read a lot about cats showing complete reversal of symptoms with the right diet. I've learned the hard way, that Nova is just not one of these cats. Every IBD kitty is different, and Nova has a lot working against him. This is why his steadily improving weight and demeanor are such a huge, positive change. His vet commented that it is remarkable he's gained weight and overall healthier stools in spite of his disease. We may even be able to taper him off some of his medications soon, as a result of his improvement.

Hare Today offering these novel protein sources is a powerful resource for treating these diseases. Both my cats thank you folks, cause Hare Today Rabbit gets four paws up!

Whole Prey Diet= Outrageously Bouncy Cats

By Reva on October 23, 2016

After an expensive and arduous search for truly good food for my three cats, I finally found Hare Today.

My 5-year-old Norwegian Forest cat, Phoebe, needed no persuading to switch to whole carcass ground rabbit and chicken organs from the "healthy" cans and kibbles I'd been feeding her.
The predatory glee in her eyes when she devoured her first helping was unmistakable- so is the extra bounce, fluff, vigor, and well-being she's had since we changed to a 100% raw prey diet from Hare Today 4 months ago.
My half-Maine Coon kittens, Pirkka and Robin, were palm-sized when the first order arrived, but they devoured platefuls of ground rabbit like a couple of starving tigers. Robin was the tiny runt of the litter. Today he is 9 lbs and growing fast, muscular, sleek, and gorgeous. He and Pirkka are the happiest, most devilishly intelligent, fiendishly bouncy, sweet-natured, healthy, glossy-coated, and affectionate little wild beasts I've ever encountered- and I've raised 3 healthy litters of kittens plus Phoebe the Norwegian, who has always been extraordinarily bright and energetic.

Hare Today, thank you for providing an invaluable service to the growing number of people who understand that a raw prey diet is the first and best way to show our animal friends love. I deeply appreciate your affordable prices and commitment to top quality.
My cats' rambunctious good health is the best testimonial going- I could not recommend any product, anywhere, more highly.

Raw Food "Cured" My Dog's IBS Symptoms

By Tina on October 21, 2016

My Labrador pup, Major, started bloating and having severe IBS symptoms when he was four months old. He suffered from horrific and chronic diarrhea daily and he simply couldn't maintain a good weight. He was healthy in every other way and his blood work was always perfect. His vets determined he had IBS when he was about one year old.

I tried feeding premium kibble, traditional medications and holistic procedures...nothing helped. After three long years of trying everything under the sun to help Major, I decided to try raw feeding.

The change was almost immediate. Today, his stomach issues are almost non-existent. Occasionally Major will have what I call an icky pooh, but it's a single event...not days long. he maintains a healthy weight of 75lbs. My only regret is that I didn't make the switch sooner.

Raw feeding saved Major's life and my pocketbook.

Love the selection

By Martha on October 18, 2016

I truly tried to find a good array of organ meats in my local area but wasn't having any luck. I came across hare today gone tomorrow in a Google search and I've been ordering my organ meats from them ever since.

I also love the information they offer on here as well. They describe exactly how things will work and suggestions for shipping to ensure it stays frozen.
I order every couple of months to cut down on shipping costs. I also love that I'm purchasing from a farmer. I'd rather my money go to a "little guy".

Happy and Healthy!

By Rachelle on October 17, 2016

My name is Chewy! I am a 1 1/2 year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback. My
family takes great of me and my sister, Rockie! We love eating Hare Today
Gone Tomorrow! My dad doesn't love it because he has to pay for it. However,
every time he sees me smile and my skin radiate with health, he keeps buying it
for me!

My story is this: I had an awful skin reaction to the dry food I was eating.
So they started me on Hare Today's raw food. I began eating it and loving it
greatly! After about 6 or 7 weeks on the raw food, my skin has completely healed
shines without any effort! My energy level is great and I love to run as fast as I
can and tackle my sister every chance I get! Check me out in my pictures and see
what raw eating has done for me! You will see me with my sister, my mom, and where
my sister and I LOVE to hang out in the middle of the day!

If you love your dog or cat
as much as my family loves me, you will feed them Hare Today and Gone Tomorrow
as quickly as you can! Christmas is coming! I suggest you buy your pet some raw food! It will be the best
gift you will ever give them!

Sincerely! Chewy (Oh, and my sister eat its it too! And
she stands at my bowl just hoping I will leave something for her! Never!!!!)

Troubled puppy

By Katie on October 16, 2016

My girl has IBS and requires specific lean meats. We move all across the country. It is a huge relief to be able to get the meats I need no matter where I live. Not to mention, my dog loves it.
