Bailey and Logan
By Lauren on August 4, 2016
My two cats, an 11 year old red tabby named Bailey and a 5 year old black smoke Maine Coon, Logan, have been eating raw food for roughly the last four or five months.
In that time, many positive changes have taken place. Bailey, who was already walking stiffly and being grouchy, is now much more active, playing with her laser pointer and chasing the string that attaches to the feather toy, and interacting with people.
Logan, who suffered from dry skin and dandruff, now has a beautiful , thick coat.
Probably the biggest change is that he is now properly using his litter box so no more puppy pads! In addition, it is nice to notice their wild instincts surfacing as they hunt their feather toys and toy mice and watch the birds outside and to have playful, energetic cats.

Great Products
By Sheila on August 3, 2016
I am so glad a friend recommended your site to me years ago. It is great to find products that are already ground with the meat/bones/organs.
I have fed raw for years and it is wonderful to find products that meet with my standards. I feed your products and use them to make dog cookies to.
My girls love the raw ground and raw bones. I believe my dogs are healthier than many feed store bought food and treats.
Thank you so much for your great products. Sheila
Starting new puppy off right
By Dorothy on July 31, 2016
I have been feeding my two Scottieās mostly raw. Several months ago I found out my 6 year old male had Cushings. After much research I read that a raw diet was very beneficial for dogs with this disease. Since I have been feeding him raw most of his symptoms have diminished drastically. I know this is not a cure but if I can keep my beloved boy around (comfortably) for a few more years I will be blessed.
This week we are welcoming another Scottie pup into our lives. I want to start her off eating healthy. I know crunching on raw meaty bones will be good for her. Save rugs and household item too.

Very Impressed
By anna on July 31, 2016
I have been feeding my animals a raw food diet for years. I used to buy it at the specialty pet stores, but then they started pasteurizing it and ruined it. That's when I began buying online, mail order style.
I have tried 3 brands over the years, so I am familiar with the products and their quality. I have only been using Hare Today for less than a week, but I am very impressed.
My dog is easy...he'll eat anything. The big test is my cats. So far my cats have tried the chicken and they liked it a lot! I offered them cavies, but they were uncomfortable with them. I would really like my kitties to learn to eat the whole animal foods, so I am going to work at introducing them. BTW, the cavies had a great, gamey smell which is how is should smell. Also, the ground up eggs are amazing. I will be getting more of those.
One of the main things I like about Hare Today is that Tracy is involved with the raising, and euthanasia of the animals as well as processing. It is important to her to be as kind and compassionate as possible. That is truly being a good steward and because of the that and the high quality of her food, I will start purchasing from her on regular basis as soon as I run out of what I have been using.
I am so happy that I found out about Hare Today and only sorry that I didn't know sooner.
Happy Cat
By Gregory on July 30, 2016
Our Abyssinian cat loves this food. He likes rabbit and turkey a lot, but his favorite is the quail. He is so healthy his vet even comments about how robust and healthy he is. His coat shines, he is alert and I can tell he feels good. We add free range egg yolks, salmon oil every few days, a feline probiotic, and bone broth.
This food cured my cat of asthma.
By Bernard on July 24, 2016
After about two years of ownership my Maine Coon started showing symptoms of asthma. At this time he was on a premium dry food. I took him to the vet and they confirmed asthma as well as offered me very costly prescriptions for steroids, which I would inject regularly.
I tried a lot of things including switching to a grain free cat food, but to no avail. I read about Hare Today Fine Tomorrow and decided to try it. Within a week of him being fully switched over the asthma attacks began to subside and within a month were gone.
I moved across country and tried giving him canned grain free again. Sure enough, asthma returned. I moved back to raw and have fed it for the last 1.5 asthma-free years. I'm a fan of raw for life now.

Sickly cat
By Sarah on July 19, 2016
My cat Zephyr has had digestive issues his whole life, diarrhea, ravenous, overweight, skinny. Vet never came back with any issues and blood tests always were fine.
I used to feed combo of dry and wet store bought decent foods. When I transitioned Zephyr to all wet foods, I saw improvement. Took to vet again for check up, this time they say he was diabetic and had to have shots a couple times a day- so instead I looked to switching to raw foods.
He is not perfect but he holds a steady weight, never diarrhea, is active and eats regularly and my family and friends believe I saved his life.. No needles to deal with either.
Thank you Hare today for making it easy with different packaging options!

Everyone can do it!
By Xenia on July 17, 2016
My Briard was one year old when I heard about raw feeding and it was life changing. I used to freak out at the idea of my dogs eating RAW meat or licking up at the raw egg that I accidentally dropped on the floor... But once I started reading about raw, it all made so much sense and seemed so intuitive.
It's the most natural thing for your dog (or other pets) to eat... I mean processed dog food has not existed for that long so what do you think dogs have been eating for the thousands of years that they have been domesticated?
Now I cannot believe this never occurred to me naturally, but the good news is we are fully on board with raw now and my Briard has never been sick, never had allergies, and she competes in rally, obedience and agility.
She has a beautiful coat that is extremely easy to maintain.
I started off making daily meal plans and freaking out over portioning and all the details... now I just play it by ear. I don't even weigh the food anymore and just go by what I feel is right. I know it seems like such an overwhelming task, but once you get the hang of it, it is so easy.
Everyone can do this! Don't question yourself, it's the best thing you can do for your pet!!

Great products, great shipping
By Deborah on July 14, 2016
I ordered my first order of a variety of products last week. The products were shipped on Monday and arrived on Wednesday, just as promised. They were packaged well, were still 95% frozen and the remaining 5% was still icy cold. I did purchase an extra 2 ice packs since it's summer and I'm in the mid-west. I thought the extra ice packs were a cheap insurance and I will probably continue to purchase extra ice packs during the summer.
So far I have only fed the venison, beef and bone product after mixing it with the suggested supplement for bone-in grind. It was a hit with all 3 of my cats! They loved it and they each licked their plate clean! Over the years I have thrown away so many half-eaten or completely ignored meals, including from commercially prepared raw foods and canned foods only to have the cats begging for food an hour or two later. That gets expensive! So for the pickiest of picky cats to so thoroughly enjoy their food and to each finish their meals is such a relief.
I half thawed the 5 lb. chub in cold water, then finished the thawing in the refrigerator. It thawed remarkably fast (about 3 hours) and following the instructions for mixing in the supplement was as easy as it could get. I then made 1 inch thick patties and froze them for quicker thawing in future.
Life-changing Diet
By Mitchell on July 11, 2016
As a responsible and loving dog owner, I have always sought to seek the best products and food diets for my two rescues. I personally believe in organic and natural products, so it's only natural I reflect that knowledge onto my pets.
Recently I was referred to this site by my friend after reading about raw diets. It has so much variety, more variety than I can find in stores. I have traveled and shopped at 6 different establishments, privately owned and franchises, and this site has 80% more options than all those combined.
I have already seen the positive effects in my dogs: more energy, longer lasting clean coat, reduction in smelly breath, and they DEVOUR their food. Prior to the raw feeding, I was using one of the best consumer kibble out there, Organix, and still, I had to sit and watch and play tricks to get the dogs to dig in. The whole ordeal would take 20 minutes.
Once you understand and read about how to effectively feed and balance your pets meals, raw feeding is a life-changing option. No turning back!
