The mutton bones are great for jaw exercise and my dog didn't hesitate to take them. She takes one to our bedroom and chew a mutton bone for half an hour in her bed and they make my dog super happy.

Good fresh mutton, excellent quality. Cannot get anything even similar anywhere else. We are very glad Hare Today stocks this product. Our 17 yr old delicate lady adores these, chirps like mad as soon as she sees them come out to thaw. The other four of our cats were never too interested in these, so was somewhat of a rare meal, but now that she is 50% of the cat vote, mutton bones will be on the menu more often! In my opinion, a cat who will willingly eat a variety of bones, heads and organs, along with the muscle meat, without it all having to be ground up, or subbed in by something else, just has a better overall health. She still races up and down stairs, plays hard, and is extremely surefooted. Plus, looks gorgeous, dainty and glowing while doing so. We were shocked to recently see her birthday/age!

I have an extremely picky 9 month old GSD. When I break these out for a special dinner treat, she cannot contain her excitement. This is one of the few things she will eat with enthusiasm. Because she is so picky it's hard to put weight on her, but these bones have a TON of meat and a good amount of fat so it's a nice way to add some extra calories and mix up her dinner. Definitely will be buying again.

My four dogs love these bones. I give them each a bone and go for a nap. it keeps them busy for a half hour or so. They have a lot of meat on them and they are really fresh. Will order these again and again!

I switched my 8 year old Labrador Retriever to a raw diet this past summer. We have been working our way up to raw meaty bones. We started with ground, then added in bone-in chunks and now finally, these large mutton bones. He has thoroughly enjoyed them!! I paired it with lamb kidney for a fun meal once a week. It doesn't last too terribly long - he can down an entire bone in about twenty or thirty minutes! He very much looks forward to them though and I joke with my husband that, "he's a real dog now!" It only took 8 years for him to eat a bone like a dog should!! LOL!

Actually both cats seemed to enjoy them. I let them "share" the large ones. One works on it for a while while the other waits and watches and then it is his turn.

I have gotten this a few times. Each time it is closer to 3lbs than 2lbs.

These Have a LOT of meat + you can use the bones as enrichment OR we literally get them ground up ourselves, but you are getting MUCH more meat than the bone which is a huge plus! You get both great qualities in one and this is a favorite! We love ordering here, a one-stop shop for everything and we even came back for more this evening! Stock right on up! You will not be unhappy! We are in the Midwest, so you would "think" things would be de-thawed partially by the time it arrives ( which is OK to have it happen and refreeze) , but not a chance! I ordered one of these for my puppy and I was really surprised at the amount of meat on the bone. One of the peices was a section of the thigh and it ended up feeding him for an entire day (three meals per day). I still have both of the bones floating around my house even though there is no meat left on them anymore, but they are still he favorite chewies. I will be ordering many many more in the future.
