Nutrition and Benefits
• Chicken feet is a natural, unprocessed source of glucosamine and chondroitin.
• Glucosamine is beneficial in supporting healthy hips and spines, especially for larger dogs.
• Studies have suggested that glycosaminoglycans and chondroitin sulfate may help reduce pain and inflammation from osteoarthritis, assisting in the healing process.
• While these products are available through health-food stores or a pharmaceutical medication through your veterinarian, you can give these to your dog directly by giving raw cartilage.
➡️ On the other hand, increase dietary cartilage can do no harm, particularly in the face of arthritis.
Helpful Tips and Reminders
• A 50-75 lb. dog would normally consume approx. 4- 6 ounces per day in addition to the daily ration.
• Ice cube trays can be extremely helpful in portioning out supplemental ground products.
➡️ One standard ice cube is typically 1 oz.

Great for ferrets
By Bryn on July 11, 2020
Great for ferrets fed raw grinds to help firm stools. Also great as a supplementary food item in ratio diets. Very fresh, no smell, easy to feed!
Puppy Power!!!
By Olivia on March 30, 2020
This is such an amazing product!
It is great for those who are new to raw feeding or hesitant to feed bones. I was nervous about giving my puppy bone at first because he was basically trying to inhale whatever small bones I did give him, such as whole chicken feet, quail legs, etc.
So I decided to lay off of the whole bone, and provide ground bone until he learned to slow down. I taught him to slow down by holding and supervising natural bully sticks, raw hides, and jerky’s!
Did I mention it’s great for my kitties too?
It’s safe to say this product is a necessity in my house!
Gave our old cat some really good days!
By Sam on May 7, 2019
This product was eaten with joy, vs totally just playing with the un-ground feet. I mixed it with a smelly food, usually fish. Our old boy felt so good after a meal of this, that he would bounce playing with the other two younger girls, and racing around the house. We are very grateful for this product. Good memories.
Glucosamine and Chondroitin
By Akiko on December 19, 2017
I was not quite sure if I count this as part of 80% meat? But glucosamine and chondroitin sounded good, so tried once. Kitties seems to like it, different texture from ground meat, and smell like chicken :-) I will probably try sometime in future, for sake of variation.
HAS HELPED RELIEVE MY SENIOR KITTY'S ARTHRITIC CONDITION
By GINNY on October 21, 2017
Two years ago my senior kitty developed a slight limp as a result of a fall in her younger years, and had stopped jumping up on chairs, the bed, etc. She's been eating only raw for 6 months and since adding the ground chicken feet to her food, she's like a teenager again, jumping up on chairs, the bed, playing more. Now her limp is only slightly noticeable when she gets up after a long nap, but within a few minutes her limp disappears. I'm soooooo grateful to have glucosamine as a whole food source. Thank you Tracy!
Nice to have a ground option!
By Sarah on October 14, 2017
While I usually buy whole chicken feet, it’s nice to have the option to buy ground. I use ground when making up big batches of food ahead of time or when I don’t have the time to watch my small dog eat a whole foot. Both of my dogs love either product - ground or whole feet! Thank you Hare Today for offering a diverse product line. We love buying our raw food from you guys!!!
Ground Chicken Feet
By Jenna on September 5, 2017
My dog stopped eating whole chicken feet after he got a few teeth pulled. I'm assuming they were too boney but I wanted him to still have them since they are an excellent source of glucosamine. Thankfully he will eat the ground up chicken feet!
For my aging kitties
By LaHoma on December 31, 2016
I mix 1 lb of these ground chicken feet in with the 2 lb ground chicken organs now that my kitty girls are teenagers.
By Ruthann on January 13, 2015
Our dogs love ground chicken feet. I mix it sometimes with other meats.

Our dogs absolutely love them. It sounds like they are
eating potato chips. They come running when we say chicken feet:)
