This is very fresh duck. It's a great way to get the fat content up for my cat. Love the raw meaty bones that I can give to my cat as a snack while I prepare his food.

Nice chunks of bone in duck, assorted sizes and meaty/boney-ness. Fresh, just as you'd expect from Hare Today. The surprise was a cat that is still resistant to raw was bonkers for bites of skin! Careful, it's fatty, not too much at a time, especially for beginners.

Just like chicken pieces, duck pieces is as good as chicken. Fresh and chewable. My cats can spend a while chewing it.

I give these duck pieces 5 stars on looks alone. Like another poster I was expecting the leg quarters, but these pieces still look good to me. This is my first time getting the pieces as I am so reluctant (worried) to give bones due to fear of blockage, etc. But these pieces are ao meaty and clean looking- I am really looking forward to giving them to my furkid! He loves the ground duck, but he is a Lab, so Im fairly confident he will like these too.

I received my pack of duck pieces yesterday. Because of the photo I was expecting the pieces to be more like legs and sectioned off by different parts of the duck. Instead it is just random chunks of duck that doesn’t even look like it has much bone in it. I haven’t thawed it yet but it is so far a bit disappointing. I was excited bc I wouldn’t have to chop up a whole duck but now I wish they had whole ducks for purchase.

Response from Hare Today: A whole duck weighs 6-7 lbs so a 3 lb package will contain pieces of the duck not the entire duck. It is luck of the draw as to what parts you will receive in the bag. We used to offer whole duck but didn’t sell enough to justify the freezer space so this whole duck was discontinued.

Very meaty duck pieces! These have been very much enjoyed by my dogs; just reordered more today! My older dog just started on raw eight weeks ago. He seems to tolerate duck better than some other proteins. I also love that he gets to chomp down on these - great for mental stimulation and for cleaning up those teeth. I paired this with some duck hearts, liver and gizzard... it was a home run! I will continue purchasing this product.

My 40 lb Aussie loves the duck pieces. Great size chunks and very good quality. She will sit and hover while I am getting her bowl ready in the morning. Definitely a good product to buy.

When I was trying to switch one of my cats to raw I doing just about every ground protein I could get and he just wouldn't eat it. So I purchased the duck pieces and the rest is history. Henry doesn't like ground at all so this was a great alternative. This duck happens to be a favorite. If you have a cat give it a try! I cut the meat into smaller pieces that he can chew. So just because you have a cat you don't have to buy ground!
