These small, active quail are raised in large, indoor flight pens, never brooders or battery cages. They are fed a high quality, proprietary feed combined with natural dietary enrichment. Our quail are bred and raised for nutritional quality, not size, and we strive to provide the same conditions that they would need to thrive in the wild. When our quail thrive, the carnivores that depend on them do as well.

• Packaged in a half pint (8 oz) glass jar with lid and band - Freezer Safe & Reusable!
• Frozen in commercial freezers maintained at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or lower.

Nutrition and Benefits

• Sourced Quail are fed a proprietary diet that was developed by collaboration between nutritionists and raptor breeders.
• Wild Coturnix quail are known for their ability to stockpile vitamins and nutrients for migration. Paired with appropriate husbandry this yields a higher protein density and elevated levels of key fat-soluble vitamins. Add in natural dietary enrichment and the result is a dark muscled feeder quail of exceptional quality.

My cats loved the quail eggs when added to their food. I wanted to give it a little more nutrients and this did the job.

I bought this to add extra nutrients to my little dogs dish. Quail is difficult for me to source but as usual, Hare Today offers hard to find items. The eggs looked and smelled fresh. My pup enjoyed it very much!
