Rabbit ears
By Victor on October 11, 2024
My two dogs love these rabbits ears. My cat thinks it's just a toy to play with.
Love!! But..
By Dara on February 18, 2024
I absolutely love these for my cats but I do wish for a bulk option as since I have multiple pets it makes it much much easier to get them what they need!
Took my kibble junkie a year to love these
By Nanxi on March 12, 2023
I got these because of the reviews, and my cat didn’t touch it at all for over a year. During that time I was able to fully transition her from kibble to wet, and now she’s finally on half-wet half-raw, she started to appreciate these. They’re super crunchy and figuring out how to eat them is a great food puzzle that serves as an enrichment since she’s indoor-only.
Fantastic treat!
By Paula on February 9, 2023
My Shelties love these. They always pick them out of their bowls first no matter what the other choices are!
The pets love the crunch!
By Lindsey on December 4, 2021
My cat plays with this, and then my dog eats whatever she doesn't finish. Great product!
Kitty crack
By Liannys on November 12, 2021
My cats go crazy over this, even my very picky eater. They love it and I love giving them treats that are actually good for them. Thank you Hare Today!
Drives my kitty wild!
By Corey on October 2, 2021
I've been meaning to leave this review for months. Long story short, we love these treats. One of my cats is a big fan of rabbit, and she can't get enough of these. She loves to play with them for a bit before chowing down, and since she's still young (2 y/o) I need all the help I can get to get all her playful energy out. Definitely give these a shot!
Cats love these
By Gina on February 15, 2021
Great treats for the cats. One plays with it for a while before crunching on it and the other one devours it without messing around first. Will purchase more for sure.
Cats love these
By Kylie on January 26, 2021
This was one of the items for my first purchase with hare today and I'm so glad I bought a bag of rabbit ears for my cats. My cats went nuts over these. 2 of the 3 are just enjoying playing with them, swatting them around the house and chasing them, while the other one is actually chewing and kicking on it as well. These are keeping them entertained far longer than any toy has. I gave one to my dog as well although he wasn't really interested in it. He doesn't want to give it up but is just sleeping with it haha. I will definitely repurchase these.
Dog is crazy for them
By H on January 25, 2021
Not her 1st time eating rabbit ears but these are just as tasty. They are cut closer to the base of the ear than others I’ve found making these larger. The price is a heck of a lot better too.
I’m giving some as gifts as well. I know a few dogs who have a boring diet & need some excitement.
A Hit with ALL my Cats
By Kristy on January 14, 2021
I have a very finicky 13 yo, an 8 yo who lived in the wild several months, and a 6 mo who will eat anything. Surprisingly, my 13 yo is the one who went completely wild over these. The 8 yo finished most of hers. He ate her leftovers and when the kitten got done playing with hers and crunching the meaty base, he polished hers off, too. All 3 of them were very excited at presentation. I will definitely be reordering these!
The Only Brand my Pup Likes
By Jessica on September 20, 2020
My dog ONLY likes this brand. Seriously. He won't touch any other dehydrated rabbit ear except these. Not sure what it is, but he's been missing his nightly ear treat for several months. Rabbit ears and turkey tendons are by far his favorite treats and I'm so excited to get him enjoying them again! Highly recommend this brand.
My cat went BALLISTIC for these!
By Tracey on May 21, 2020
My cat has been kibble fed for his entire life (he’s 2). He gets the occasional wet food, but he’s never strayed from his diet. I’ve recently purchased a LOT of food to begin raw feeding. The first thing I tried was the bunny ears. My cat gave it a sniff, a teensy little lick, and then devoured it. This is the first thing he’s ever eaten that isn’t kibble and he’s in love! I think he’s going to like his new diet!
An awesome treat!
By Page on March 22, 2020
Our kitten absolutely loves these rabbit ears. She plays with them for hours, I believe it satisfies her "wild" instincts! Then she eats them. I highley recommend!!
Good alternative to Vital Essentials freeze dried
By Mareike on February 7, 2020
I prefer these rabbit ears over the ones from Vital Essentials in so far as they look more natural, and don't have a color on them (VE's ears have a reddish hue).
I would like them even better, if they were freeze dried and soft/bendable instead of dehydrated/hard. I used them as a larger "plug" for a Kong treat.
Kitten approved!
By Lorelei on January 23, 2020
I purchased these for my two kittens and I was a little worried at first that all they wanted to do was play with them, but then when they realized it was edible... they would not put them down! It is a great treat to help keep cats teeth clean!
Great distractions!
By Emmelie on November 14, 2019
I have been ordering these for my cat Florine for over a year now, and she has always enjoyed them as an occasional treat. However, when I adopted my new kitten, I found that these were her absolute favorite treats! These rabbit ears are the sole reason I can do the dishes without a 6 month kitten trying to climb into the washer. They are amazing, and keep the kitten occupied!
My cats' favorite treat
By Corin on November 7, 2019
My cats both love rabbit. When I first gave them these, they were interested but a little hesitant and just ate part of it. After a couple times they realized they love them and will eat a whole ear in under a minute. They come fresh and soft but once the pack is opened and stored in the fridge, they soon dry out and become very crunchy. The cats seem to love the crunchiness.
Perfect Treat For All
By Mi on November 2, 2019
Love that we are buying rabbit ears from a reputable source. Great source of fiber and manganese in my dog's diet. The ear size is not that big so it will work well for small dogs as well as larger dogs. Definitely will be buying again and again!
They LOVE them!
By Jennifer on October 1, 2019
My pups love these rabbit ears!! They are crunchy and easy for them to eat. I bought a bunch of them because they love them so much! They are great quality and are now definitely a staple treat in their diet!!!
Thank you from Coco
By Patricia on April 4, 2019
These are Coco's favorite treats! Thank you for offering a healthy item for a treat!! She has several protein allergies and rabbit is one of the few proteins she can have. We keep a freezer full at all times!!
Yummy
By Dara on January 20, 2019
My 12 week old kittens (Sicily and Sardinia) absolutely LOVE these rabbit ears! They can’t get enough! They play with them and flip them up in the air and then eat them. These are fantastic! They are crunchy and nicely packaged. I will keep them on hand at all times. Thank you Hare Today for a great product!
4 paws up
By Cheryl on December 23, 2018
I was a bit hesitant to buy these, not knowing if our 4 cats would like these. After reading the other reviews, I took a chance. Oh my! Our cats are crazy for these! They played with them for over 2 hours before running out of steam!! I'm going to bring a few down to my brother's house on Christmas Eve for his 2 cats and dog. I'm pawsitive they will love them too. Thanks for another great product!
Kitty liked it a little too much
By Gabrielle on November 6, 2018
I would love to give this 5 stars, but my previously feral kitty pretty much reverted back to feral when feeding him these ears. Don't get me wrong, he loved them a ton, and purred so loud while chewing them up. Soon he started eating them so fast, and purr/growling when I tried to get him to eat slower. He started to scarf and barf these things up, which is pretty gross to witness. I ended up giving the remainder to my dad's dog who liked them just fine. So 5 stars for pet enthusiasm... 4 stars for not being able to continue giving these as treats for fear of my now indoor kitty becoming a feral little terror.
Hare today’s response: Your cat was acting as cats do when they have a valued food or treat. The purring/growling is normal feline behavior previous feral or not. The mistake was trying to take it away which caused him to eat it faster. Over time if you would have given these on a consistent bases this behavior would have subsided once he knew you would not be taking it away
Yummy snack
By Chrissy on November 1, 2018
I bought these thinking they would be bigger, but my Lab doesnt care. The first ear was carried around and spit out a few times- he wasnt quite sure what to think of the fuzz I think. But then he crunched it and figured it out. He gets these as a clean your ears treat :-)
Best treat yet!
By Sarah on July 27, 2018
We’ve been a fan of Hare Today’s all natural treats for awhile. These bunny ears are the best treat yet! They are crunchy like chips and completely satisfying to my two dogs. Just say “no” to store bought treats - who knows these days what you’re giving your dog. I trust Hare Today’s products as safe, yummy, natural goodness!
One of my cats devours these
By Megan on July 17, 2018
I have four cats, only one of them eats these, but boy does she love them! It's the second time I've purchased the dehydrated rabbit ears. I just gave one to my cat Truffles, and she gobbled it up in a minute - she didn't even play with it first! Love how neat and clean these ears are. Not gross at all.
Rabbit ears
By Lynn on June 20, 2018
I've tried various treats for my beloved cat Nicky and the one he is wild for is Hare Today Gone Tomorrow's rabbit ears. I love to watch him crunching happily on one.
Clean, fresh, crunchy bunny ears!
By Ann on May 23, 2018
Ziggy and Zowie are my 14 month old kitty boys who are brothers from the same litter. They are from the local shelter, look like twins, are adorably demanding and, as most self-respecting felines, have incredibly high standards. Their favorite food is rabbit and I feed them Hare Today whole carcass ground rabbit with bone and fur with Alnutrin Meat & Bone. With each meal, they get one bunny ear as a treat. Recently I ran out of bunny ears and much to my dismay Hare Today was also out of bunny ears. I knew I was in trouble!
Desperate, I found another supplier and reluctantly gave them a try. My kitties wouldn't eat them. Those rabbit ears were much bigger, thicker, too difficult for my boys to crunch, had a (natural but still rather unpleasant) odor. Upon closer inspection, I could see something on them -- ear wax, blood, dirt -- I don't know, but it was off-putting to the boys. Those rabbits had been raised for human consumption and the company had been throwing away the ears until this supplier said he was interested. But there is more to the preparation as a suitable snack than just dehydrating and it was evident from the product that those steps were missed. Still, I gave these rabbit ears to a friend for her large dog who loved them!
I managed to locate another online retailer in California who sells Hare Today bunny ears. They were more expensive because there was a middleman and they took a long time to get to me in Chicago, but they were totally worth it! As soon as I opened the pouch there was no smell, the ears were delicate and clean, and when I offered them to the boys they grabbed them and each ran to their favorite spots to devour them. I could hear crunching ... the sign of happy kitty boys!
Crunchy, yummy bunny ears
By Megan on April 16, 2018
Can't believe I haven't reviewed these before, they've been my kitties favorite snack for a while.
They are exactly as advertised: completely dehydrated (hard and crunchy) rabbit ears, sometimes with a bit of scalp attaching them together. Not smelly at all. Sometimes my older cat isn't as enthusiastic about them as the younger one, all I have to do is hold it and let him nibble on it, or break off small pieces for him. Definitely fun for them to play with before eating!
Five stars all the way!
By Judith on April 1, 2018
My cat loves dehydrated rabbit ears! These are her favorite treats.
It would be amazing if the company could offer select sizes; for example, either "larger" or "smaller" ears only together in the same bag. I would prefer to have all smaller ears if that were available.
Not for my dog
By Cassandra on March 15, 2018
My dog loved it, but it gave her really loose poop. No more ears for my pup.
Hare today’s response: I highly doubt it was an ear that caused your dogs loose stools. We would be happy to help you figure it out if you email us.
FAVORITE treat
By Sarah on November 29, 2017
Both of mine go nuts for the rabbit ears (not so much with the feet, but they love the crunch of the ears)! They get these almost every morning when I leave for work.
Big hit!
By Katrina on July 25, 2017
My 1 year old tuxedo kitten (Nika) is a pro at eating these ears & took to it right away. I still hold onto the ear for her since she has a habit of eating it too fast and not actually chewing. It's a great teeth cleaning & jaw exercise. Just adopted a 4 month old tuxedo (Calvin) and he'll tackle one once he figures out how to, lol. Can't open up the bag without Nika following me!
Dog chips
By Chelsey on June 19, 2017
A nice little snack for our dogs. The crunching makes me think of a chip for dogs. They love these just like all the hare-today products
Our cat loves these!
By Patty on June 1, 2017
Just tried these for the first time this spring. Kittie did not know what to do with her first rabbit ear. She knew it was something good, maybe a toy, but when I broke it up for her she firgured it out. The next ear she munched up petty quickly on her own.
Now when she goes into a meow-crazy fit, complaining that we never feed her (ever), she gets a rabbit ear. One ear makes for a rather long snack, and everybody is happy.
I like that this is pure food and that the ears are good for her jaw and teeth.
Now it's time to order more!
Not quite what I imagined!
By CHRISTINE on April 7, 2017
Not quite what I imagined, but this is a good thing. Friend had given my cat a couple of dehydrated rabbit feet, she had so much fun I just had to buy her more. When placing my 1st order & reading reviews I decided that I just had to try some of the dehydrated rabbit ears as well.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: From me - Not quite as "gross" to fish out of the bag as the feet were. From my cat - Hey mom, these are TWICE as cool!
The feet occasionally "escape" while the cat is busy tossing & chasing - find them fallen behind something & give them back. No ears have escaped as yet ;) Would give 10 stars if I could - will need to buy more soon.
First impression - Fun Toy for Cats
By Akiko on March 15, 2017
We received both bunny legs and ears today. Maybe because my cats are not eating raw (yet), they are not going crazy like I was expecting. One cat tasted ear a bit, the other one enjoy batting little paw. She is obviously more excited than mouse toy. Hopefully they will realize their new furry "toy" is actually edible, and start chewing!
Yikes!
By Maureen on March 9, 2017
I did order these once. I have to admit that when I opened them up, I freaked out packaged them back up and shut them into a cabinet again for 2 weeks. I then made my son give each of my cats an ear. They loved them. I knew they were rabbit ears but, they were just to much for me. I geuss I know I will never feed whole prey. I am still giving 5 stars on the basis of how much my cats loved them.
Cats delight!
By Denise on September 6, 2016
My cats go absolutely bonkers for these! They are such a great treat!
Cringe...
By Lesa on August 11, 2016
At first I was quite freaked out when I opened the bag and saw the ears... they were attached in the middle! So that meant I had to break them apart. I didn't think I could do it. But when I finally got up the guts to break them in two, I tossed them to my cats and saw how much they enjoyed batting it around and playing with it and eventually eating it (with LOUD crunching), I decided it was worth it. I will definitely buy again, especially if it's supposed to help keep their teeth clean.
Cats love these
By Rosemary on June 30, 2016
Just got our rabbit ears and the kitties love them. They were gone so fast I couldn't even grab my phone and snap a picture. I'll be ready next time. cant wait to try the rabbit feet which I also ordered. Ears and feet are clean and good quality and arrived quickly. Don't know what I would do without Hare-Today. The quality and variety of proteins is super as well as the prices. Thanks again Tracy!! My 4 cats love your meats and treats.
perfect snack

Perfect little snack size treat!
The best treat
By Morgan on April 16, 2016
Store bough treats are fine and all but these are the cats meow. Gives the cats something to work through, exercise their jaws and keeps their teeth clean.
Bought these the first time a few years ago and I make sure to keep some on hand at all times.
A Fun Treat
By Kristin on March 22, 2016
My cat definitely likes these but sometimes gets picky about non-wet/fresh food so they're an occasional fun treat. I like to use them as a "scavenging" reward if I'm out of the house for a long day - I'll break a set of ears into two or three pieces and set or semi-hide them in places he tends to pass by, then see what he's discovered while I'm gone. They're truly dehydrated so even if I forget where I hid one and he didn't find it it's not a problem, though if you're squeamish be prepared because they do look like a scalped bunny top.
Better than expected!
By Christina on March 8, 2016
I was holding off on ordering these because I have a larger dog and thought they'd be chewy and maybe cause a choking hazard for her if she swallowed them whole. Then I needed a snack for my cat and finally decided to give them a try since the size seemed like it'd be more fitting. Now I wish I tried them sooner! These are great! Both the dog AND cat loved them. They're not really chewy, more like a quick, crunchy snack. A+ from me. Wouldn't hesitate to order more in the future! :)
Cats love this as a treat!
By Danielle on March 5, 2016
We usually leave a couple out when we know we'll be gone for awhile. When we get back they're gone! They are a good size for a small dog or cat. I love hearing the crunch when I give my guys this. I have three cats and the boys that will eat anything love these but my girl doesn't care for them.
Cats didn't care, too hard
By Yingbo on February 20, 2016
Based on all the raving reviews I made the mistake of buying 4 packs of these. It's an interesting concept it my cats did not go crazy over them or devour them. They just sniffed them and gnawed on them a bit and gave up because the ears were too hard. My cats are strictly indoor cats that live on kibble and wet food. I've fed them raw chicken now and then but they don't like it as much and will only eat it if they are starving. I think they prefer their food to be smelly. These rabbit ears look pretty disgusting (dried bloody stump on the ends) but not smelly. Don't believe all the rave reviews.
Response from Hare Today: Please read the feline nutrition site www.feline-nutrition.org and get rid of the kibble. It is horrible for obligate carnivores. Cats become addicted to kibble and this makes it hard to introduce food. You may be surprised that they will like the ears if feed a raw diet. Cats teeth are perfectly capable of crunching on dehydrated rabbit ears as well as bone in meat. This is what will help keep their teeth clean so you dont have expensive dental cleanings.
Very popular!

These are a winner with everyone! I just have to keep the dog away so the cats can enjoy theirs.
Our dog loves the rabbit ears!

Rabbit ears are very hard to find, so our dog is glad that I can order them for her from this site. She loves these!
Amazing treats!
By Sarah on January 10, 2016
I bought these as a special holiday treat for all our pets, both cats and dogs. As soon as I opened the bag I had five furry butts immediately plopped in front of me waiting. The dogs loved theirs but they were gone in seconds haha! All three cats snatched their ears greedily and ran off to a private spot to crunch them down. There wasn't a crumb left by anyone! Even our more hesitant cat grabbed his rabbit ear and devoured it! These are awesome, healthy treats and you get a good amount per bag - definitely will be buying more!
There's something about
By Jessica on October 6, 2015
There's something about rabbit ears that make my cats go nuts. It's like catnip.
They're a good size and I didn't have to worry about my cats choking on them or getting them stuck in their teeth.

Review of Dehydrated Rabbit Ears
By Dena on September 21, 2015
The Dehydrated Rabbit Ears are a hit! Dogs, cats, and ferrets love them. A tasty snack. One of our ferrets took his and ran and hid it and didn't come back until it was all gone.
5 stars from my niece's cat
By Patricia on August 29, 2015
I bought these in hopes my cats will chew on these to clean their teeth. They won't touch it but I'm not giving up. I gave my niece one of the ears and she said her cat devoured it in 10 minutes. The difference may be that her cat has been an outdoor cat and mine have never been outdoors and has no clue that they are suppose to like this sort of thing. I did notice that one of my cats dunked one of the ears in water and started to gnaw on it so it might be a start.
By Sharetoday on April 25, 2015
Although my first reaction was to feel a bit squeamish, both of my cats love these. A great price for treats that will keep them occupied for a bit.
By Rebecca on February 21, 2015
My cat loves to play with these and will bat at it for hours and run away with it. Eventually she eats the tips only. Now my dog will inhale these in 30 seconds she can't get enough.
By Jennifer on February 16, 2015
Crunchy great snacks for our 2 cats! I like it because the bones clean their teeth. They like it for the treat!

Dehydrated rabbit ears - next best thing to a Scottie catching a "bunny" on their own. The Scotties LOVE bunny ears.
By Lisa on September 26, 2014
I recently ordered the rabbit ears for the first time and my cats love them. At first they weren't sure what to do with them, but they quickly found out that they love eating them.
By Taia on July 12, 2014
I bought a package to try for my 11 Maine Coon cats. While my oldest cat (10) had absolutely zero interest; the rest of the herd attacked them with zest especially the youngsters. The 7.5 pairs of ears per package just didn't cut it with 10 cats. Note to self: order more than one package next time.
By Asheen on July 6, 2014
My two youngest cats love these and they were completely gone in two weeks. The only regret I have is that I didn't purchase more.
By Dunja on June 6, 2014
My friend recommended these for my cats to try. I must admit, I was skeptical. I thought though that they would at least enjoy playing with them, so I bought a package. When I offered a set to my cats, sure enough they started playing with them, flipping them up in the air, batting them and carrying them around. I put them away. Next day, I took them out again…. this time, I broke off a piece and offered it to them. Well…. they went nuts for the pieces, eating them right up! They could not get enough of them. What a great treat! I will continue to buy these, for sure!
By Dorothy on February 27, 2014
This is the first time I ordered such a treat for my Scotties. When I unpacked my order I was a bit nervous to give these furry treat to my dogs. My concerns were gone once I tossed a few on the floor. Lucy immediately went for it and enjoyed crunching on the rabbit ear. Teddy is more cautious. He sniffed it some, watched Lucy enjoying her's, then he tried it. In no time they were gone and the Scottie's looked for more.
By Lisa on March 29, 2013
I have 3 Chinese Crested dogs, a breed notorious for weak and missing teeth. After going to the veterinary dentist and having a composite put on a chipped canine tooth I learned my lesson and only feed treats/chews that are appropriate for them such as larmb trachea, dehydrated potato chews and very small bully sticks. The rabbit ears do the trick perfectly and my dogs are simply bonkers for them. My pitt mix thinks they are great too but for her they are like eating a cracker! I can truly say that all the dogs give these a four paws up review and their dentist is happy too.
By Rebecca on March 1, 2013
WELL! IF THEY DONT EAT THEM? THEY SURE LOVE PLAYING WITH THEM!
My cats PLAY TAG! YOU'RE IT WITH HARE TODAY RABBIT EARS!
By Lyn on February 26, 2013
I needed a rabbit treat... and although a tad unsure about feeding my dog, Charlie Brown, rabbit ears (with fur), I gave it a try. Biggest problem was getting my fingers out of the way fast enough! OMG! These are too good! Hard to say no when he asks for a second treat!
By Emily on November 13, 2012
These are the BEST thing! What a fantastic way to introduce whole prey items! My dogs crunch them right up and beg for more! A way better treat than any old "beggin strip"!
By elizabeth on October 13, 2012
I am new to this raw food way of feeding. I ordered the ears for my dog, a very picky border collie mix. At first he took it in his mouth and put it down, smelled it, and in one swift motion and some crunch, crunch, the ear was gone. He had a very pleased lookin face and was sniffing the bag for another :-)
I will be ordering more soon. I am super happy that I found hare today and Tracy.

Zelda (1.5 yr old Aussie): *crunch crunch* "It's like a furry potato chip! More?"
Bowser (5 yr old Aussie): *lick lick pull crunch* "Well that was interesting... more?" [human note: Bowser's particularly texture-sensitive when it comes to new foods]
Misha (10 yr old indoor kitty): *lick lick crunch gnaw pull tear* "MORE!!"
I bought these for Misha in particular. She has never chewed anything before, and her teeth and gums are showing it. She had a few pulled a couple of years ago, and is facing having more pulled in a couple of months. As you probably know, dental disease has consequences beyond the mouth - it can affect the entire digestive tract, and the heart too. I've tried to get her to eat raw food before, but she's been only minimally enthused by ground whole chicken, and wouldn't even touch anything not ground. I now have some hope that I can get her dental health on the right track!
And it's so cool to see her eat like a *real* cat!!!
By Erica on May 16, 2012
I had to wrap these up good and put them on a really high shelf. They were a hit with the kittens. They each carry off an ear, play with it for a while and eventually eat it. They get a lot of entertainment out of them for sure. They'll try to help themselves to the bag of ears if they aren't securely put away. :-)
By Morgan on May 13, 2012
My cat Osirs LOVES these! He was hesitant at first, but once he had his first bite he was hooked. I tried to give him one at a time rather than in pairs to make them last longer to no avail.
Hoping my new cat loves them as much as Osiris does.
By Diane on May 3, 2012
My dogs LOVE these crunchy, yummy treats and I love them because they provide a great way to include all animal parts when feeding a prey model diet.
By B. Gayle on April 11, 2012
I admit I was a bit squeamish about offering these as treats but my dog loves them! Wish I had found them earlier as they make wonderful training treats and they are easy to break into smaller pieces. Having an allergy dog that eats only rabbit and tapioca I don't know what I'd do without Hare Today - the service is great and my dog is thriving. Thank you ever so much for offering a bit of variety to my allergy dog!
By Marianne on February 13, 2012
I bought these rabbit ears for my 1year old kitten, as a snack. At first, she didn't know what to do with them and just pawed at them. Then a few days later I tried again and she began to lick them, after that, she was hooked. She LOVES them! She runs to the freezer when she hears the bag and follows me in circles until I drop it for her. She's a tuxedo cat and her raw diet makes her black fur shine! Sometimes I feel like I might drop her; she's so silky, and minimal shedding. I'm so glad I found your site! Thank you!!
By robin on January 31, 2012
My kittens go wild whenever I head toward the rabbit ear's cupboard! They have enjoyed crunching their way through a rabbit ear since they were 4 months old. I was a little nervous at first because of the size of the ears and the fur, but my kitties quickly proved that the rabbit ears are the perfect treat for kitties of all ages!
By Jennifer on January 31, 2012
My cats LOVE the dehydrated rabbit ears. They seem to love the crunch and never leave any crumbs. It is a great healthy snack.
By Sandra on January 10, 2011
My cats loved to play with these, but didn't really eat them. Eventually, they ignored them. My new puppy and my neighborhood dogs, however, thought they were fun to eat. :)
As soon as I opened the package I stored them in a ziploc bag. A year later, my dog still eats them. Doesn't take her long (she's 20 pounds, now), but my cats ignore them because they have officially become the dog's toy. LOL.

An update to an earlier review. Nowadays I am doing some rescue so I have several more cats and kittens, including a young feral. The kittens especially love crunching up the bunny ears. The feral will actually approach me when I hold out a bunny ear, then he snatches it away and runs off to eat it.
In my experience most cats really love the bunny ears for play and/or eating, and I recommend them to everyone. The smell must be fantastic to a cat, even though I can't smell anything, because as soon s one comes out of the bag, they instantly become very very alert. A really interesting thing, though, is the changing demeanor of the cat once it gets an ear. They are so very proud to carry off their prey. I think the ears not only smell good and taste good, it actually makes the cat feel good and proud of itself. That may sound crazy, but see for yourself. A cat with some prey in its mouth is a cat with a swagger.

These ears were barely out of the bag before Sprinkles was at the counter sniffing around for one. A total hit---he ate the first one in a few minutes and was happy as a clam. Once again, Hare Today's products are awesome.

My 2 don't seem to know what to do with these. They were toys for a while, but they did not see as food of any sort. Oh wel...they do have fun batting them around the kitchen floor.

Our cat Archie loves these ears!! We hide one every morning and he hunts for it. It's really funny watching him look for it and then eventually find it and crunch on it. It is really exciting for him when he finds the ear.

My 2 doxies love these! They are the new favorite. The first time that I gave them one, Rascal ate his so fast, that I thought Rocky had taken it from him! The don't smell bad or leave any kind of residue, either.

I have six cats. Our Pearl absolutely loves Loves LOVES these dried rabbit ears. We feed it outside on the deck. Whenever the door opens, she runs like a demon for the deck and squeals for some bunny ears. The other five? Have sniffed the ears and mouthed them a bit, but haven't managed to eat one yet. Of course it's not like Pearl gives them much time before she snatches it away. Crunch crunch crunch, it's gone!

My two super-sized dogs absolutely LOVE these rabbit ears! They eat them so fast that I can't keep enough of them in the house. What a great product for raw feeders!

A HUGE hit with every cat and kitten I have given them to! They are greeted with equal enthusiasm by adult cats and kittens, and by raw and conventional feeders. Conventional feeders pounce almost as if they had been starving (gives one pause, doesn't it?). Definitely a new staple here!

My Westie loves these rabbit ear treats. I make him track or hunt them in the backyard and it's a wonderful reward. Because the fur is still on, it leaves a good scent for tracking inside or out and is not messy - great activity for your dog with a good, healthy reward. He digests it easily.

My female kitten Suzie went crazy over the first rabbit ear I presented to her and chewed it all up in a few minutes. Her brother looked at it and then at me and asked "so where is the rest of the rabbit??" Suzie took it and hid it in her secret treasure box (behind some bricks under my deck outside). I think the ears also make a great Christmas present for all my neighbors' cats!

I have never seen my kitten go so crazy for any toy or treat before these. She loved gnawing on the rabbit ears, and would happily play with them and chew on them for hours. The shipment came very promptly and was well packaged. I love doing business with Hare-Today! Highly recommended. Your pet will thank you.

My dog (and the neighbor's dogs too) goes nuts for these bunny ears. It is a great snack and when I just feed a meat/bone combo I give him one or two ears with it.
Two thumbs up !
I also cut the ears in little peaces to use it as a treat in our training lessons.
